How Do We Move: Modeling Human Movement with System Dynamics

چکیده
Modeling how human moves in the space is useful for policy-making transportation, public safety, and health. The movements can be viewed as a dynamic process that transits between states (e.g., locations) over time. In world where intelligent agents like humans or vehicles with drivers play an important role, of mostly describe activities, state transition influenced by both decisions physical constraints from real-world system need to spend time move certain distance). Therefore, modeling should include agent's decision dynamics. this paper, we propose MoveSD model movement novel perspective, learning integrating learns Generative Adversarial Imitation Learning integrates stochastic dynamics process. To best our knowledge, are first learn moving extensive experiments on datasets, demonstrate proposed method generate trajectories similar ones, outperform state-of-the-art methods predicting next location generating long-term future trajectories.

SOEPpapers 368: How Far Do Children Move?
Little is known about how far young adults move when they leave their parental home initially. We addressed this question using data from ten waves (2000 – 2009) of the German Socioeconomic Panel Study on spatial distances calculated by the geo-coordinates of residential moves (N = 1,425). Linear regression models predicted young adults‟ moving distance by factors at the individual, family, hou...

We know that every improvement is a change—but how do we know that a change is an improvement? Improvement experts and patients, each in their own terms, ask this question with appropriate impatience. 3 For example, how can valid conclusions be drawn when an improvement initiative employs no control population, or if the study employs predominantly qualitative measures? Indeed, some argue that ...

Mammalian dorsal root ganglia (DRG) contain a diverse collection of sensory neuronal subtypes specialized to detect different sensory stimuli. Most of these cells respond to mechanical stimulation of some sort, be they proprioceptors detecting body movements, receptors for gentle touch or nociceptors activated by painful levels of pressure, and yet the proteins that detect mechanical stimuli re...

The study on human movements and animal locomotion has revealed various principles based on physics, biomechanics, physiology, and psychology. Many of existing animation techniques rely on those principles, which may be described as a form of mathematical equations, rules, procedures, or algorithms. Another stream of research, called datadriven animation, made use of human motion data captured ...
